At The Open Studio, clients are able to use creative and expressive processes to work through difficult or challenging issues by tapping into self-knowledge and personal strengths.

Through the use of Art Therapy and Interactive Drawing Therapy (IDT), a dynamic relationship is created between the client, the imagery/ words and the therapist. This process is very effective for people of all ages, including young children. It helps with communicating ideas, thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears. It facilitates problem solving, decision making, mental and physical wellbeing and enhances self-awareness and confidence.

Working with a trained and experienced art therapist, in a safe, supportive and facilitating studio environment, can be transformative and enjoyable. There is no need for clients to have any art training or artistic skills, simply the desire to create a difference in their lives.
